We are excited to be offering this exciting tour to our customers. King Tut is returning to the AGO after 30 years and he is bringing his fellow Pharaohs with him. This 2010 exhibit is an almost entirely different selection of treasures and more than twice the number of artifacts as were displayed in 1979. this new exhibit features 130 remarkable pieces from the tomb of King Tut and ancient sites representing some of the most important rulers throughout 2,000 years of ancient Egyptian history. SAIL the BIG CANOE a Spring Sail on the ChiCheemaun from Owen Sound to Tobermory

Her name Chi-Cheemaun is the Ojibway Indian word for Big Canoe. The MS Chi-Cheemaun is the largest passenger/car vessel on the Great Lakes and since 1974 the Chi-Cheemaun has safely carried passengers between ports. For this tour we travel west to the docks at the of Owen Sound where we will board the MS Chi-Cheemaun. This Spring Sail takes the ship from it’s winter home in Owen Sound to Tobermory, where it begins the ferry service between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island. During the cruise there will be entertainment on board, a delicious buffet lunch plus the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent beauty of the Bruce Peninsula from the deck of the ship. GUELPH JUNCTION EXPRESS a trip back in time on a vintage train round trip from Guelph
Wednesday, September 15 ... $117.00
The train travels from the River Run Centre in Guelph through the countryside between Highway 6 and the Guelph Line to Campbellville. There the entire train will turn around offering passengers a view of the opposite side of the route for the return journey back to Guelph. Locomotives and crews from the Ontario Southland Railway (OSR) operate the fleet of three 1955 vintage stainless steel climate controlled Budd Cars through Ontario Greenbelt Country. The total length of track one way is 17 miles and takes about 2 1/2 hours for the round trip. Let’s get onboard as we travel to Gravenhurst to board the beautiful Wenonah II for a cruise on Lake Muskoka. As we are cruising and watching the beautiful fall foliage and magnificent homes along the shore we’ll be enjoying a delicious noon turkey dinner with all the trimmings plus dessert. Following the cruise we travel to the small village of Bala, located in the heart of the Muskoka’s. We arrive at the Johnston Cranberry Marsh for the Bog to Bottle Tour where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided wagon marsh tour, see the cranberries being processed and make purchases of cranberries or cranberry products. This tour takes us south to the town of Richmond Hill for an afternoon performance at the brand new, beautiful Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts which opened this year. The show we will be seeing is the Richmond Hill Centennial Pipe Band presenting A Scottish Heritage Show called “Memories of Scotland”. This show will feature the Bagpipes, Highland Dancers, Scottish Country Dancing, plus much more. Following the performance we will have dinner at Café En Passant Restaurant located in Richmond Hill.
